About The Lenders List
The Lenders List acts as an affiliate for short term Payday loan and instalment loan lenders who pay a commission to receive users that submit applications. We are always happy to work with new companies provided that have a valid consumer credit license and follow the responsible lending guidelines by Financial Conduct Authority.
Who are we?
The Lenders List is an online directory listing payday loan direct lenders and instalment loans for customers looking to borrow up to £50,000, we list over 25+ direct lenders in the UK. The site launched in 2013 after noticing the lack of directory sites in the payday loan sector, something that has been raised frequently in the press and by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA).
Above all, we were concerned about the number of brokers and lead generators charging upfront fees and passing on the customer information to numerous companies, bombarding them with text messages and emails in the process. That is why we only list reputable direct lenders who do not charge broker fees or admin fees.
2015 – The UK payday lending market saw a big change in lending criteria and the payday loan sector as a whole, with lenders re-branding and offering alternative short term instalment loans – More Information.
How does the site work?
Our list of payday loan lenders shows all the lenders we work with and if you click on ‘more info,’ you will receive information about the types of loan that they offer and checks that they run and our very own review of that company.
At The Lenders List, we do not store your information or take your details, we simply suggest the different lenders so that you can apply directly through their website. We will constantly update our site with the best-featured lenders, those lenders who are the most responsible and offer the best value. We encourage our users to shop around and look at the different payday loan companies on offer and borrowers are welcome to contact us for more information using the ‘contact us’ tab at the top of the page.
